Old Art - Autoverse
Here is some old stuff I was working on when I was taking graphic arts training in Woodstock, a little one-horse town situated where the St. John River meets the Meduxnekeag in New Brunswick, Canada, ten miles from Houlton, Maine.

Woodstock was and continues to be an interesting study in small-town decreptitude, inbreeding and corruption where the most popular diversions are drinking, glue sniffing, unwed pregnancy and outwitting Customs at the border crossing (not that I'm especially fond of them!). Yeah, that's the truth and the truth hurts. So, for the two years I was going to school there in the dark Cambrian pre-Internet days, I could either work my hiney off in class, get my ear bent by the landlady's garrulous sister, be hit on by barflies at J.R.'s, read personals from lonely Kluxers and mispelled rants against the Trilateral Commission and the New World Order in the copy of Spotlight some wierdo routinely dropped off at the public library - or draw. This was one of the results. I ran it in an apa for twenty-five or so people, but otherwise no one else has seen this until now...

I now present, for your delectation and amusement, a full study of how much I had yet to learn about drawing, perspective, panel layouts and all those other minor details at the brink of the 90's. Enjoy your heads off...
